Arcus Search is excited to partner with a leading global firm in the London Market Insurance and Reinsurance sector, seeking a versatile and communicative Business Systems Analyst.

In this permanent role, you will be instrumental in defining and managing the business and functional requirements related to policy administration, downstream systems, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee intricate projects and long-term strategic initiatives, comprehending business needs and requirements, documenting them effectively, and providing regular updates.
  • Organize and facilitate requirement gathering sessions, presentations, and workshops.
  • Ensure that the proposed solutions enhance operational efficiency for business processes and align with product offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across various business functions on a daily basis.
  • Create user stories and define Acceptance Testing criteria, as well as develop test plans and scripts based on the gathered requirements.
  • Guide and mentor one or more IT Business Analysts.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Significant experience as a Business Analyst within the London Market Insurance domain.
  • Familiarity with Policy Administration Systems (PAS), preferably Guidewire.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies and Business Analysis practices.
  • Experience with reporting solutions is highly advantageous.
