Position: Data Configuration Specialist
Location: Remote with occasional onsite visits
Employment Type: Permanent
Compensation: Up to £25,000 per annum

Work Schedule: Evening/night shifts required to align with USA hours, specifically from 7 PM to 2 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical support via phone to installation and maintenance technicians.
  • Ensure that third-party technicians and clients have a well-connected and properly configured site during and after installations.
  • Act as the primary contact during the installation process and for any follow-up visits related to hardware replacements and alarm inquiries.
  • Provide validation and sign-off for successful installations.
  • Maintain master sign-off documentation for customer rollouts.
  • Assist with customer modifications, including controller replacements and site remodels.
  • Review trouble ticket logs daily to identify and address issues as necessary.
  • Analyze system-generated reports to resolve any discrepancies identified.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and technicians through phone, email, and ticketing systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience in customer interaction, demonstrating the ability to independently resolve issues.
  • Excellent listening abilities.
  • Capability to coordinate with team members across various continents and time zones.
  • Quick adaptability to new systems and interfaces.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
