The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the design and implementation of technology solutions, complex problem resolution, and ongoing service enhancement in relation to our entire infrastructure technology stack.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, implement, and manage enterprise infrastructure technologies and hosted environments
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to explore, design, and deliver solutions that meet our current and future key infrastructure requirements
  3. Deploy, develop, maintain, and support Linux enterprise server platforms
  4. Perform proactive performance monitoring, analysis, alerting, reporting, tuning, and utilizing appropriate enterprise level tools and techniques

Requirements

  1. Degree or postgraduate qualification in an Information Technology, Computer Science related discipline or demonstrate appropriate level and range of professional experience
  2. Expertise in deploying, managing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure technologies and hosted environments
  3. Demonstrable operational experience in the design, implementation, and management of two of the following:
    1. Automation Technologies (Ansible / Puppet / Chef)
    2. Hyperconverged Infrastructure (VMware vSAN)
    3. Data Protection and Recovery Technologies
    4. Storage Architectures (SAN/NAS/vSAN)
    5. Containerisation, Orchestration, CI/CD (Kubernetes / Docker / Jenkins)
    6. High Performance Computing
  4. Evidence of having performed proactive performance monitoring, analysis, alerting, reporting, tuning, and utilizing appropriate enterprise level tools and techniques
