About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Environment, Health and Safety team at Eversheds Sutherland. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic and commercial legal advice on health, safety, investigation, and environmental mandates, supporting our partners in the EHS and Inquiries team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on health, safety, and environmental matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Handle complex cases, working closely with senior members of the team to deliver high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies, identifying new opportunities and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the team, providing input on key initiatives and projects.
  • Collaborate with sector specialists and other contacts across the firm to drive growth and innovation.
Requirements
  • Strong technical skills, commercial acumen, and excellent academic qualifications.
  • Ability to analyze complex factual situations and distill key issues clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in safety or environmental law is desirable.
