Job Title: Field Service Engineer EPOS

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Field Service Engineer to work on both break-fix and preventative maintenance projects for leading retail organisations across the UK. This role will cover the geographical location of Chester and involves working with various electronic equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and maintenance services for EPOS systems, IT equipment, and other electronic devices.
  • Identify and resolve basic issues with a good understanding of technical concepts.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Background in break-fix engineering, preferably with experience in EPOS, Pin-Pads, Scanners, Printers, ATM, or other electronic equipment.
  • Ability to undergo and pass a BS7858 vetting Level 5, including Scottish Disclosure and Credit Check.
  • Valid Driving Licence (Manual) with a maximum of 6 points.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive day rate of £134.46 per day via an Umbrella company.
  • Overtime rates of £22.41 per hour (Monday-Saturday) and £27.95 per hour (Sunday) for hours worked beyond 10 hours per day.
  • On-call rate of £2.00 per hour (with a Sunday increase of £3.00 per hour) for hours worked during on-call periods.
  • A van, fuel card, smartphone, laptop, and on-the-job training to ensure success in this role.
Shift Pattern:
  • 5 days from 7, with a standard day between 8am-6pm, including travel time and a 1-hour break.
  • No restriction on the number of sites per day.
  • Consistency of work, with 5 days per week, Monday-Sunday (including weekends).
  • On-call periods, with additional payment for on-call hours.
  • Expenses and van provided, along with a fuel card and travel expenses.
