This full-time position is office-based and ideal for individuals with a background in customer sales, whether from retail, telephone, or field sales. This position is situated within the retail sector, where you will manage incoming customer orders while also upselling and recommending suitable products. Our client emphasizes matching the right products with the right customers.

Work involves 8-hour daytime shifts across 5 days, which may include some weekends (for example, one Saturday and one Sunday a month, with a day off that week to maintain a 5-day work schedule).



Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls from customers interested in purchasing products showcased in brochures, advertisements, and online.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend products that fit their budget and lifestyle, guiding them through the order process.
  • Ensure appropriate sales practices to minimize returns by providing the right items to customers.
  • Build trust with customers by demonstrating respect and care, utilizing patience and empathy.
  • Promote additional relevant products during the order process.
  • Establish rapport with customers, even in challenging situations, while upholding the brand's reputation.
  • Access product information using the appropriate systems and online resources.

Essential Requirements:

  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • A strong willingness to work towards team objectives.
  • A genuine interest in learning about products to provide accurate customer advice.
  • Empathy and understanding of customer needs.
  • Ability to manage difficult customer interactions with professionalism.
  • Proficient in IT and comfortable using CRM systems and software.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in a call center, retail, or sales environment is advantageous.
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualifications.
