Team Dynamics:

The Engineering Services and Utilities Team operates within the London Cost Management division, focusing on the financial management of engineering services across diverse sectors.


Key Responsibilities:

As a MEP Project Surveyor, you will:

  • Deliver precise and value-oriented cost management services for high-profile projects.
  • Engage in all phases of MEP Cost Management, from project inception to completion.
  • Manage a portfolio of projects with values ranging from £5 million to £50 million.

Essential Skills:
  • Expertise in Cost Planning, including Area Schedules and Quantity Measurement.
  • Experience in preparing Tender Documentation and evaluating bids.
  • Proficiency in Feasibility Estimates and Value Engineering.
  • Strong Risk Management capabilities.
  • Post-Contract Management, including Valuations and Final Accounts.
  • Ability to foster client relationships and generate repeat business.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a consulting environment, particularly in MEP Cost Management.
  • Strong understanding of JCT and/or NEC contracts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in digital measurement and cost planning tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management.
  • Chartered status with RICS, CIOB, or equivalent.
