Production Line Quality Controller

Working Days: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday

Shifts: 12-hour shifts (Days or Nights Available)

Overtime: Paid after 48 hours at 1.25x rate

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Implement quality control procedures in accordance with the quality management system and maintain accurate documentation.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and checks to ensure that products meet customer and legislative requirements and adhere to traceability procedures.
  3. Identify and communicate quality trends or product non-conformance to the QC Manager in a timely manner.
  4. Lead and motivate the team working on the line to optimize productivity and fruit utilization, including training and daily team briefing sessions.
  5. Ensure production plans and stock sheets are followed and maintained.
  6. Maintain compliance data and quality control processes to BRC/Customer standards; assist with internal/external audits as required.
  7. Develop and maintain a healthy business relationship between FWM and its customers, growers, and suppliers, communicating with the QC Manager as needed.
  8. Ensure service levels are maintained above 99.9% and meet customer expectations.
  9. Collaborate effectively with the team, ensuring an equal share of workload among all team members.
  10. Provide flexibility within the Online QC department, covering for QC team members as necessary.
  11. Deliver training for new QC team members.
  12. Ensure all equipment is calibrated daily/as required, treated with care, and maintained in good condition.
  13. Adhere to health & safety, food safety, and hygiene standards.
  14. Follow QC Manager's work instructions due to seasonal changes and quality trends.
