Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Night Security Officer to join our team at ABM UK. As a Night Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and visitors to the site.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors and tenants, delivering a first-class experience.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the shopping centre, being proactive and vigilant in identifying potential security risks.
  • Ensure that the site is a safe and non-threatening environment for all visitors and tenants, taking prompt action to address any incidents or concerns.
  • Liaise closely with the site control room, reacting promptly to incidents and ensuring that colleagues are fully briefed and supported.
  • Record and log all non-conformances and emergencies, ensuring that all incidents are managed in accordance with site policies and procedures.
  • Deal efficiently and effectively with all emergencies, ensuring that the Centre team is kept fully informed at all times.
  • Monitor and surveillance of suspect individuals, logging and reporting incidents in line with site and company policies.
  • Highlight and manage unauthorized access by banned individuals, ensuring that all site procedures and policies are adhered to.
  • Provide assistance to third-party contractors and visitors, ensuring that all site procedures and policies are adhered to.
  • Liaise closely with statutory authorities, dealing with incidents and providing information as required.
  • Ensure that radio procedures are adhered to at all times, and that all events and incidents are recorded in the Security Officer's notebook correctly.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
