About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Gov Facility Services Ltd. As a key member of our Facilities Maintenance Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical installation and testing work to a high standard, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and codes of practice.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify and address potential issues.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues from various trades to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of electrical systems and equipment, including commercial equipment and catering or healthcare environments.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance and inspection plans to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
Requirements
  • C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) qualifications with an NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
  • C&G Electrical inspection and testing qualifications.
  • A certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements for Electrical Installations, 17th or 18th Edition.
  • Experience working on commercial equipment or in catering or healthcare environments.
  • Confidence working in planned and preventive maintenance operations, in a setting where quality and compliance are paramount.
