Position Overview

This role is designed for individuals seeking to develop their skills in emergency nursing through a structured training program. The successful candidate will engage in academic modules at a recognized institution, focusing on Clinical Examination Skills and the management of Minor Injuries, while gaining practical experience under the guidance of seasoned Emergency Nurse Practitioners (ENPs) and Senior Clinicians.

Throughout the initial year of this training position, you will receive a Band 6 salary while working in a supervised capacity, enhancing your competencies to eventually function as an independent practitioner. Upon completion of the training, you will advance to a Band 7 ENP role, responsible for assessing and managing patients with Minor Illnesses. As your expertise expands, you will also support colleagues in the Emergency Department (ED) with the management of patients presenting with Minor Injuries, contributing to the overall excellence of care provided by the team.
