Key Responsibilities

  • Technician Management
    • Account for and manage technicians' time when working on jobs.
    • Ensure job card write-up compliance with OEM warranty procedures.
  • Workshop Productivity and Efficiency
    • Manage and improve workshop productivity and efficiency by allocating the correct jobs to the correctly skilled technician.
  • Training and Development
    • Identify technician training needs.

Requirements

  • Experience
    • Proven experience within a service department in the motor industry.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • An excellent understanding of systems and processes operated within this environment.
    • A strong knowledge of health and safety.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Confident with dealing with people at all levels, able to build an immediate rapport.
    • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
    • Comfortable in negotiating and influencing situations.
    • Lead by example to deliver an outstanding customer experience every time.
