Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Lift Operations Manager to join our team at Radius Group. As a key member of our Contract Lift & Plant Installations Division, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the lifting operations for our clients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lifting Plan Development: Develop and implement detailed lifting plans, including risk assessments, equipment selection, and supervision.
  • Site Meetings & Surveys: Attend site meetings and surveys to ensure accurate project drawings and coordinate with clients and stakeholders.
  • Logistics & Planning: Coordinate and plan the logistics of lifting operations, including transportation, storage, and equipment management.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of lifting specialists, including slingers, signallers, and crane operators.
  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Appointed Person certification and experience in lifting operations.
  • Lift/Crane Supervisor certification and experience in supervising lifting operations.
  • Slinger/Signaller certification and experience in slinging operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
