As a Process Scientist in the Water Quality and Environment (WQE) Team, your role will be pivotal in enhancing water quality by optimizing operations at our treatment facilities in the Southern Region.

Your Responsibilities

You will collaborate with a team of five Process Scientists, providing expert operational, scientific, and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Together, you will exceed compliance and regulatory standards, all while championing superior water quality.

Your tasks will include developing and overseeing Water Operational System Plans (WOSP's) to ensure accurate real-time data input, reviewing strategies, and coordinating necessary actions to drive timely completion.

You will conduct root cause analyses and troubleshoot challenges at our water facilities. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for efficiencies and innovations to enhance our processes.

One of the most rewarding aspects of this position? Contributing to public health and environmental protection while adhering to regulatory Water Quality Operational Performance Assessment (WQ OPA) standards.

A fundamental requirement is a robust understanding of water treatment methodologies and scientific concepts.
