Job Title: Catering Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team at Lancashire County Council as a Catering Assistant.

This role plays a vital part in providing high-quality meals to school children, and we are looking for a committed team player to work in Clayton Brook Primary School.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the dining area for service, including setting up and putting away furniture.
  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food and beverages.
  • Clean all equipment and catering areas.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.
  • Good customer care skills.
  • Previous catering and food preparation experience is desirable.
Working Arrangements:
  • Monday to Friday.
  • Term time only.
  • Variable hours depending on school meal uptake.
