We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Challenging Behaviour Teaching Assistant at Academics Ltd. As a Challenging Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with challenging behaviour, providing emotional support, and promoting positive habits that improve their overall well-being and social interactions with their peers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement specific strategies to address challenging behaviour
  • Provide emotional support to children with challenging behaviour
  • Collaborate with trained professionals, including SENCOs, Educational Psychologists, and Occupational Therapists
  • Gain vital experience and learn from specialist professionals

Requirements:

  • Excellent behavioural management skills
  • Commitment to improving the life of a challenging young person
  • Ability to adapt approach and strategies to meet individual needs
  • Relevant experience working with difficult behaviour, mental health issues, or SEN children
