Maths Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate Maths Teacher to join our team at a well-regarded secondary school in Tunbridge Wells. As a Maths Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our students and contributing to the school's commitment to academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop, and deliver high-quality Maths lessons using a variety of approaches to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Monitor student progress, keeping accurate records of assessment outcomes and targets set to enable students to achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of children and young people, adhering to the Every Child Matters agenda and Area Child Protection Procedures.
  • Ensure continuity, progression, and cohesiveness in all teaching, setting homework regularly to consolidate and extend learning.
  • Track student progress, monitoring achievement against targets set, and take appropriate action on student outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Maths or a related field.
  • Teaching certification or relevant teaching qualifications.
  • Proven experience of teaching Maths at the secondary or higher education level.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
