Transaction Services Assistant Manager

Grant Thornton UK LLP is a leading audit, tax and advisory firm with a global network of independent professionals. We're a team of experts who put quality, inclusion and integrity first, providing a broad range of advisory services to clients in a deals environment.

As a member of our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team, you will be providing financial due diligence on both buy-side and sell-side transactions for private equity and corporate clients. You may also have the opportunity to work on public company transactions, primarily on AIM Market operated by the London Stock Exchange plc.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing financial due diligence on transactions, including client discussions and target business meetings
  • Liaising with the internal team to prepare analysis and reports for client deliverables
  • Supporting the preparation of a quality document to facilitate client decision making
  • Presenting conclusions and recommendations to clients and discussing implications and action points
  • Taking a proactive interest in your own performance and the performance of the wider team
  • Consulting effectively in relation to risk management and supporting a risk management culture within the team
  • Supporting the team's business development efforts and opportunities

Joining us as a TAS Assistant Manager, the minimum criteria you'll need is a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA). It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don't worry if you don't tick every box, we'll help you develop along the way.
