About the Role

You will be working with our employment partners in the Birmingham team, including Jog Hundle, Richard Santy, Richard Barker, and Kate Watkins. You will be part of the cross-office Employment, Pensions and Immigration NSL, headed up by partner David Mills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising employers on employment matters
  • Engaging in business development to promote the firm's practice
  • Working with colleagues in other offices
Requirements
  • At least 1 year's experience as an employment lawyer
  • Self-starting with common sense and initiative
  • Excellent written English for drafting purposes
  • Excellent presentational skills
  • Very good time and documentation management skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to lead on Employment Tribunal matters
  • Ability to build good relationships with clients
  • Very good research skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills
