Junior Sous Chef Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our team at Antony James Recruitment. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant team to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Monitor inventory and manage kitchen supplies to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior chef in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide a team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
