Role Overview:

We are in search of a committed Special Educational Needs Instructor to join our team in South East England, particularly in Berkshire, Reading. In this role, you will provide customized support and direction to learners with special educational requirements. Your main objective will be to assist these students in overcoming educational hurdles and reaching their academic aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create personalized learning strategies tailored to each student's unique needs and capabilities
  • Conduct engaging and interactive sessions to facilitate students' educational development
  • Evaluate students' advancement and modify teaching techniques as necessary
  • Work collaboratively with parents, educators, and other specialists to foster a nurturing educational atmosphere
  • Offer constructive feedback and support to enhance students' academic success
Essential Qualifications:
  • Experience in working with students who have special educational needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capability to devise and implement effective educational strategies
Educational Background:

A relevant teaching certification is required.

Experience:

Previous experience in tutoring or teaching students with special educational needs is essential.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Familiarity with special educational needs practices and methodologies
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate individual student requirements
  • Excellent organizational capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional training in special educational needs education
  • Experience with diverse learning styles and abilities
Work Environment:

This is a temporary, part-time role with flexible scheduling. The position involves interaction with students, parents, and educational professionals.

All stated pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role in the future.
