Senior Accountant Job Description

Accountancy Elite is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a practice environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and finalizing accounts, as well as providing tax advisory services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and finalization of accounts for Limited companies, Sole Traders, and Partnerships
  • Preparation of management accounts
  • Preparation of corporation and personal tax returns
  • Basic tax advisory knowledge to advise clients
  • Training junior staff members and reviewing their work
Requirements:
  • ACCA/ACA qualified or QBE
  • 4 years UK practice experience at a minimum in a senior role
  • Prior experience of managing client relationships
  • Strong practice experience and preparation of statutory year end accounts for a variety of clients
  • Knowledge of cloud-based software
