Job Title: AI Security Architect

Emanate Technology is seeking a highly skilled AI Security Architect to join our team. As a key member of our cyber security team, you will play a pivotal role in upgrading our security capabilities and identifying, analysing, and mitigating cyber risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to ensure systems and projects comply with cyber security requirements throughout their lifecycle.
  • Provide in-depth technical security expertise for Cloud, Web, IoT, IT, and Operational Technology, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
  • Conduct risk assessments and lead threat modelling activities, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and developing mitigation strategies within defence projects.
  • Drive enhancements to the existing security architecture, proactively recommending improvements to align with evolving cyber threats and business objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to manage compliance efforts across both classified and unclassified networks, ensuring adherence to security protocols.
  • Act as a senior mentor, guiding junior staff and providing expert-level cyber security knowledge across various departments.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in ICT security with a strong understanding of securing networks, systems, and applications in complex environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of government security standards, including the ISM, and familiarity with industry frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
  • Expertise in security architecture methodologies, with experience applying frameworks such as SABSA, TOGAF, or similar.
  • Proven ability to design and implement secure solutions that meet both project and regulatory requirements, ensuring risk is effectively managed.
  • Industry-recognised security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly valued.
  • A degree in ICT, Engineering, or a related discipline, with post-graduate qualifications or professional certifications in cyber security preferred.
