We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our Corporate Portfolio team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the strategic management of our corporate loan portfolio, ensuring the safe growth of our customers while minimizing credit risk.
Key Responsibilities- Portfolio Management: Manage the Corporate Portfolio team to ensure the successful management of the portfolio, balancing growth with risk management, including early identification of customers facing stressed or distressed situations.
- Relationship Management: Challenge team members on case strategy and act as mandated authority for customer management strategy decisions.
- Aggregate Credit Limits: Manage the application and performance of aggregate credit limits across portfolio accounts.
- Lending Review: Introduce and manage the annual lending review of all corporate customers.
- Credit Risk Governance: Work with the first line Credit & Portfolio Risk team, and the Second Line Credit Risk team in the management and development of credit risk policies and standards.
- Reporting and Analysis: Regular reporting and analysis that informs all key stakeholders of the risks on the portfolios and performance against risk appetite.
- Lending Experience: Lending/underwriting experience across residential and commercial assets.
- Relationship Management: Relationship management experience.
- Leadership Experience: Leadership experience of managing/working as part of a high performing corporate lending team.
- Risk Management: Strong understanding of risk management principles across the credit lifecycle, credit analytics and policies.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience of working with multiple stakeholders to improve the customer journey.
