Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide second-line desktop and remote support to global office personnel.
  • Offer VIP user support to senior management and other high-priority users.
  • Assist IT team members with difficult or recurring issues.
  • Liaise with and delegate tasks to relevant teams for escalation.
  • Support the Desktop Team Lead and escalate support issues to the IT Support Manager as necessary.
  • Provide mobile device support for Apple and Android devices.
  • Administer Active Directory Users and Computers.
  • Support Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
  • Support MAC OS X operating systems.
  • Participate in ad-hoc support requests, desk moves, and desk-side support.
  • Support the business core hours 7am to 7pm rota basis (Monday to Friday) and out-of-hours support as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to follow process.
  • Ability to work proactively and under pressure.
  • Good understanding of mobile devices, such as Apple smartphones and tablets.
  • Strong background in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong background in Windows.
  • Familiarity and comfort in using web conferencing and collaboration tools and apps, including Teams, Skype for Business, Zoom, and WhatsApp.

  • Remote Support Tools.
  • Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.

Compliance and Regulatory Responsibilities:

  • Compliance with FCA requirements at all times.
  • Obtain appropriate approvals to ensure compliance with company policy, procedures, and regulatory requirements/rules, with regards to data protection, money laundering, etc.
  • Maintain accurate records and deal with correspondence appropriately.

Personal Qualifications:

  • Relevant professional IT qualifications.
  • ITIL Foundation V4.
