Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified technician to join our team at GWR Kia. As a technician, you will be responsible for carrying out diagnostics, inspections, repairs, and services to vehicles. You will also be required to interpret instructions from job cards and repair orders, and to instruct the parts department on the necessary parts for repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out diagnostics, inspections, repairs, and services to vehicles
  • Interpret instructions from job cards and repair orders
  • Instruct the parts department on the necessary parts for repairs
  • Complete road tests and sign off all necessary warranty repairs
  • Accurately report and record work done, and tests carried out, and immediately report any further works required or vehicle faults
  • Liaise with customers on technical and product matters
  • Keep up-to-date with the most recent changes in technology and techniques
Requirements
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • EV and HV experience
  • 2 years minimum as a qualified technician
  • Full manual driving license
  • Must have own tools
  • Excellent communication skills
