About the Role:
Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Building Compliance Engineer to join our client's leading consultancy that provides environmental, sustainability, and compliance services to the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport equipment safely to and from test sites by vehicle and manually as required
- Liaise with site agents and personnel to ensure smooth project execution
- Develop and implement test approaches to meet client requirements
- Conduct tests in accordance with industry standards and regulations
- Interpret and evaluate test results to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Produce detailed reports of test findings and results
- Identify and address defects or issues that may impact test outcomes
Requirements:
- ATTMA Level 1 or Level 2 certification
- Excellent communication, written, and verbal skills
- Full UK driving license
- Knowledge of building regulations or construction industry guidelines
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Excel and Outlook
- Experience in testing complex buildings, plenums, smoke shafts, isolation rooms, and PassivHaus
