About the Role:

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Building Compliance Engineer to join our client's leading consultancy that provides environmental, sustainability, and compliance services to the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport equipment safely to and from test sites by vehicle and manually as required
  • Liaise with site agents and personnel to ensure smooth project execution
  • Develop and implement test approaches to meet client requirements
  • Conduct tests in accordance with industry standards and regulations
  • Interpret and evaluate test results to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Produce detailed reports of test findings and results
  • Identify and address defects or issues that may impact test outcomes

Requirements:

  • ATTMA Level 1 or Level 2 certification
  • Excellent communication, written, and verbal skills
  • Full UK driving license
  • Knowledge of building regulations or construction industry guidelines
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Excel and Outlook
  • Experience in testing complex buildings, plenums, smoke shafts, isolation rooms, and PassivHaus
