About the Role
As a Deputy Night Operations Manager, you'll oversee one of our shift operations at the depot, reporting directly to the Depot Manager. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of newspapers and magazines to our retail partners.
This challenging role within our management team requires you to establish and maintain an efficient night-time operation. You'll be accountable for:
- Supervising all staff members, providing training and coaching, and identifying any necessary development opportunities.
- Generating accurate reports that highlight both challenges and successes within the operation.
- Collaborating closely with the management team to proactively identify potential risks.
- Maintaining a high standard of health and safety at all times.
- Ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
- Managing operations within an allocated annual budget and forecast.
