About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Pipe Fitter Welder to work on a project extending a food manufacturing facility in Peterborough. As a key member of our mechanical engineering division, you will be responsible for fabricating and butt welding stainless steel pipework, as well as assisting other pipe fitters as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate and butt weld 1' to 3' OD thin wall stainless steel pipework
  • Work on schedule 10 stainless steel pipework up to 4' diameter and carbon steel up to 6'
  • Fabricate brackets and associated supports
  • Assist other pipe fitters as necessary
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrable experience of pipe-fitting and stainless steel TIG butt welding within a food, drink or petro chemical processing environment
  • Good all-round welding experience with current or previous coding's to back this up
  • Ability to work on site at a food production facility in Peterborough
What We Offer:

In return for your experience, you will receive a salary of circa £28.00 to £30.00 per hour CIS, along with a range of benefits associated with a market-leading organisation.
