About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at First Touch Games Ltd. in Oxford. As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in delivering the best football games on mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex queries and visualizations to monitor key metrics of our games.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to identify areas of game performance variability and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Perform deep dive analysis to illuminate player behavior and improve the game experience.
  • Design and assess the results of various split testing experiments.
  • Support the ongoing development of our data governance, business intelligence tools, and technologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of data querying and extraction abilities through SQL and Python or other similar languages.
  • Confident data modeler with a good understanding of statistical and visualization techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Gaming enthusiast, particularly in free-to-play mobile games.
  • Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, written and oral.
  • Passionate football fan with a deep understanding of the game.
