Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as an Apprenticeships Standards Manager at Clarus Education Ltd. As a key member of our Technical Apprenticeship School, you will be responsible for the curriculum management of Electrical/Building Services across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the curriculum for Electrical/Building Services, ensuring high-quality delivery and outcomes.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with employers, external bodies, and stakeholders to ensure the highest standard of quality assurance.
  • Line manage a team of diverse lecturers and assessors, providing guidance and support to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet targets and ensure successful apprenticeship provision and growth.
  • Collaborate with the WorldSkills UK Innovation Network to develop excellence in teaching and training, as well as equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 qualification and a teaching qualification recognized by the FE sector (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE, DET) and Assessor qualifications.
  • At least 3 years of experience in teaching or assessing, with a proven track record of meeting targets and ensuring successful outcomes.
  • A good understanding of Apprentice/learner pathways into Standards and of apprenticeship programs.
  • Experience of delivering apprenticeships and leading a team to achieve success.
