Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Technical Prospects Ltd. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing suppliers, ensuring best quality, services, and commercial terms are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase products and services to meet the company's needs, collaborating with department managers to ensure continuity of supply of all necessary raw materials and consumables.
- Generate and evaluate tenders, ensuring best practices are adhered to and best possible commercial terms are achieved.
- Maintain supplier on-boarding and performance assessment procedures, ensuring continuous improvements to service levels and commercial terms for the business.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support with departmental needs, including product sourcing, pricing, technical data, bid support, and new product development.
- Produce and analyze reports and forecasts as required, solving problems with orders or invoices in an efficient and timely manner.
- Support all team members with shared learning to promote continuous improvement within the team.
Additional Duties:
- Deliver outstanding products and an effortless customer experience, focusing on quality and quantity.
- Manage, organize, and update relevant data/records as required, identifying opportunities for improvement and making constructive suggestions for change or development.
- Work with customers/colleagues to identify problems and advise on solutions, managing expectations of stakeholders.
What We Offer:
A competitive basic salary of £32,000 - £35,000, plus great benefits, in a full-time, permanent, site-based position.
