Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Kate's Bench Farm, a residential accommodation providing support for young people with Social Emotional Mental Health challenges (SEMH).

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the residential accommodation.
  • Supervise staff and develop care plans to ensure the well-being and safety of the young people.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere, promoting the growth and development of the young people.
  • Lead and motivate teams to achieve high standards of care and support.
  • Train and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.

Requirements

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
  • Experience of working in a residential childcare setting.
  • Working knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children's Act and Quality Care Standards.
  • Experience of leading and motivating teams.
  • Ability to effectively train individuals and groups.
