About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Aldi as an Assistant Store Manager, where you will play a key role in helping to run a multi-million pound store. You will be responsible for motivating and developing a diverse and talented team to deliver excellent customer service.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including supporting the Store Manager with day-to-day operations, managing stock levels, and ensuring the store is running efficiently. You will also be responsible for leading and developing your team, including providing coaching and training to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team to deliver excellent customer service
  • Support the Store Manager with day-to-day operations, including stock management and store efficiency
  • Manage and develop a team of sales assistants and other store staff
  • Ensure the store is running efficiently and effectively, including managing budgets and resources

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a focus on sales and operations
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
