About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our client's procurement team at Fabric Recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee accounts and establish customer profiles to maintain optimal inventory levels throughout the year.
  • Manage various stock lines, analyze relevant data, and forecast stock needs to ensure consistent inventory management.
  • Participate in meetings to guarantee the timely fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Initiate and replenish orders as necessary to sustain stock levels.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to uphold agreed-upon capacity and stock levels.
  • Conduct quality checks and coordinate import and export documentation.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with both domestic and international suppliers, including negotiating costs when appropriate.
  • Monitor and prioritize deliveries, including sea or air freight, to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
