We're one of the country's largest bus operators, and our engineering teams are at the forefront of bus technology. We're investing in state-of-the-art new buses and workshops, and we're looking for a skilled Night Shift Mechanic to join our team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing the daily operation of the engineering workshop and depot infrastructure within budgetary limits.
- Providing leadership and development to the staff at specific depots.
- Effectively managing the workforce to achieve maximum productivity and a safe working environment.
About You
- You must possess a minimum Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent.
- You must have knowledge and experience of HS&E, maintenance of vehicles, and Road Safety legislation.
- You will have working knowledge of DVSA Legislations and Categorisation of Defeats.
- You will have proven leadership skills and a flexible approach to management.
