CASS Audit Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled CASS Audit Lead to join our team at AJ Bell. As a key member of our CASS function, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating external CASS audits, ensuring audits are delivered in accordance with the audit plan, and providing management information and tracking audit actions through to closure.
Key Responsibilities- CASS Audit Leadership: Lead and coordinate external CASS audits, ensuring audits are delivered in accordance with the audit plan.
- Management Information: Provide management information and tracking audit actions through to closure.
- CASS Governance: Ensure CASS governance and controls are in place to segregate and protect client money and assets.
- Inter-Dependencies: Manage inter-dependencies between CASS and Statutory audits.
- Communication: Work closely with external audit teams and internal business areas to ensure audit work is managed efficiently and effectively.
- CASS Knowledge: Strong understanding of CASS, particularly chapters 6, 7, 8 & 10 of the CASS handbook.
- Audit Experience: Previous audit/CASS audit experience.
- Planning and Organisation: Strong planning and organisation skills.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
