Are you the right fit for our team?
About You:
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Excel, including advanced functions such as Pivot Tables, V Look Ups, and Conditional Formatting. Comfortable with data imports.
- Experience with Sage 50 Accounts is a plus but not mandatory.
- Background in a similar financial role
- Solid understanding of management accounts
- Familiarity with the health and social care sector is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Management Accounts, Budget Forecasting, and Cashflow Analysis
- Management of Asset Register and Sales Ledger Verification
- Monthly integration of Sage Payroll with Sage Accounts
- Processing adjustments for Local Authority Purchase Orders related to support services.
- Effective communication with individuals we support and their families
- Oversight of Balance Sheet Control Accounts
- Preparation of various reports, including Agency Utilization Reports
- Executing Month-End procedures in Sage (including Prepayments, Accruals, and Departmental accounting)
- Calculating Accrued Turnover
- Importing and exporting Journals between Sage Line 50 and budgeting software.
- Generating and formatting the P&L Excel report, including comments and analysis
- Providing Payroll Support and Coverage
- Managing online banking and card maintenance, along with various monthly summary reports
