Join Our Expanding Logistics Team

At Octopus Energy ECO (Energy Company Obligation), we are enhancing our logistics operations and are in search of a Logistics Associate and Delivery Driver to become a vital part of our warehouse team. This role is based in our Newton Aycliffe facility, where you will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure seamless logistics processes.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
  • Unload products from delivery vehicles and store them in designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Efficiently pick and pack orders in accordance with customer requirements and packaging standards.
  • Prepare items for dispatch by carefully packaging, labeling, and coordinating with carriers for pickup or delivery.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain precise stock records using both electronic systems and manual methods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols to prevent hazards.
  • Safely operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to facilitate efficient operations.
  • Assist in periodic inventory counts and reconciliation processes.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure a smooth workflow and address any operational challenges.
