Job Title: Carpentry Lecturer

Location: East Midlands

Salary: £27,500 - £40,369 per annum

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Carpentry Lecturer/Trainer to join our team at a leading FE College in the East Midlands area. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering Carpentry courses to a wide range of learners, in both practical and theoretical settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver Carpentry courses to learners up to Level 3
• Contribute to the continued development of the Department
• Provide tutorial support for learners
• Carry out associated administrative tasks

Requirements:

• UK Teaching Qualification or willingness to work towards one
• Relevant Assessors Award (A1, V1 IQA or equivalent)
• Previous experience teaching Carpentry, either in Education or in the sector
• Minimum Level 3 Vocational Qualification in Carpentry
• C/Level 2 in Maths and English
