About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Engineer to join our Mobile sub-domain team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a small agile team and contributing to the development of our new native mobile banking app.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small agile team and provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Contribute to the development of our new native mobile banking app and participate in code and design reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
  • Contribute to backlog refinement and ensure requirements have been defined properly.
  • Be accountable for your team's delivery and work closely with the Lead engineers, Product Owner, Scrum Master, and SMEs in the platform.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Android Engineer who has a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. You will have extensive experience building mobile apps using Kotlin and a good understanding of Android design patterns and operating systems.

You will also have excellent organisational and leadership skills, with experience leading small teams and mentoring, coaching, and monitoring team performance. Additionally, you will have good knowledge of software design principles and best practices, as well as experience using different mobile development frameworks and architectural patterns like MVVM, Clean Architecture.

You will be comfortable working in an Agile environment and have experience using source control management tools - Git (Git & GitHub Actions preferred). You will also have experience writing unit tests and automation testing, and exposure to building CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with monitoring and CI/CD tools.
