Responsibilities

  • Lead the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Contribute to the planning, design, and execution of long-term projects, shaping our technology roadmap.
  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions with your peers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Man Group, effectively communicating technical concepts and project updates.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of our production systems, reducing technical debt and optimizing resource utilization.
  • Promote best practices within the team and contribute to a deep understanding of business requirements.
  • Provide support for production systems and address day-to-day operational requests.
  • Mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise and guiding their professional development (depending on seniority).

Skills & Experience

  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.
  • Experience with SQL Server, including query writing, schema design, and performance tuning.
  • Ability to balance immediate business needs with the adoption of new architectural patterns and technologies.
  • Passion for collaborative software development methodologies and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts clearly and concisely.

Additional Considerations

  • Familiarity with Kafka or MongoDB is a plus.
