We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team at Randstad UK Holding. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a new 46-unit scheme in Oxfordshire, which is part of a climate positive home development.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Project Manager/CD in the day-to-day running of the scheme
- Provide clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets
- Work towards looking after more schemes for the business
- Ensure the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme
- Provide accurate and regular reports on progress and dates
- Control additional costs for non-productive costs and prelim expenditure
- Drive through quality at every stage of the construction process
- Ensure the development passes internal and external inspection processes
- Ensure all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to
- Take responsibility for self-development and the development of others
- Monitor and control the quality of production and approve stage completions to payments to subcontractors
- Ensure any remedial work is completed prior to occupation
- Ensure customer service remains of the highest priority at all times with everyone on site
- Experience of working on timber-frame, carbon neutral bespoke schemes
