Senior Direct Response Copywriter

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Direct Response Copywriter to join our team at Launch Potato. As a key member of our marketing team, you'll play a crucial role in crafting compelling copy that drives results and engages our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-performing copy for various paid channels, including Facebook, Google, YouTube, and email, that resonates with our audience and drives conversions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure copy aligns with business objectives and performance metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in direct response copywriting.
  • Work across a range of personal finance topics, including insurance and debt relief, to create engaging content.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in copywriting, preferably for paid channels, with 2+ years of experience with direct response and 1+ year of experience writing video scripts.
  • Proven track record of writing for a variety of paid channels, including Facebook, Google, YouTube, and email.
  • Experience with different copy mediums, including ad copy, emails, and landing page copy, but especially with video scripts.
  • Understanding of performance metrics and the ability to use data to influence creative decisions.
  • Online portfolio with recent work samples.
  • Experience writing about financial services or technology is a plus.
