Role Overview

We are seeking skilled Project Managers to enhance our growing Real Estate division in Newcastle.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Project Management assignments, ensuring comprehensive service delivery from start to finish.
  • Serve as the primary daily contact for clients, guaranteeing that their goals are achieved and that projects are completed within established timelines and budget constraints while meeting quality standards.

ROLE SCOPE

Project Managers oversee commissions of various scales and values; typically, these may reach up to £40 million. However, for advisory services, such as consulting on urban regeneration funding, the overall project scope may be significantly larger.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic advice during the project initiation phase, including guidance on various methodologies to effectively meet client objectives.
  • Establishing the overall success criteria for projects, encompassing time, cost, technical specifications, and performance metrics.
  • Planning and managing quality, safety, health, and environmental considerations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Setting up robust project governance, processes, and systems for effective project execution.
  • Developing detailed project plans and ensuring their implementation.
  • Advising on resource procurement strategies.
  • Leading and coordinating the cross-functional project team.
  • Monitoring project performance and applying management techniques, including KPIs, to enhance outcomes.
  • Managing the change control process effectively.
  • Overseeing project financials and advising on budgetary matters.
  • Facilitating communication between the project team and clients through regular updates and reports.
  • Producing formal project progress reports and other necessary documentation.
  • Taking a proactive role in liaising with clients and other consultants throughout all project phases.

Business Development and Marketing

  • Drive the development of new business opportunities with both existing and prospective clients.
  • Identify and leverage cross-selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Associate Directors and Directors to prepare bids for new projects.
  • Participate in formal client presentations alongside Assistant Directors and Directors.
  • Ensure that project case studies, photographs, and CV files are maintained and updated.
  • Seek opportunities to enhance project management services and offerings.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing Real Estate projects, preferably within a consultancy setting.
