Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist

Job Summary:

PSR Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis in Nottingham. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take clinical responsibility for patients, participating in multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk reviews, and strategic reviews.
  • Develop a therapeutic environment and act as the Responsible Clinician for patients detained under the Mental Health Act (1983).
  • Supervise referral and admission processes and offer psychiatric expertise to the team.
  • Contribute to management and clinical governance meetings, help develop service strategies, and provide in-house training and supervision.

Requirements:

  • Hold a CCST/CCT or equivalent in the relevant areas of psychiatry.
  • Have a strong commitment to professional development and ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
