About the Role

Olliver Charles is seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC CAD Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for producing detailed design information on a range of product types, supporting both pre- and post-sales functions, and coordinating the workload of other design engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and/or be directly involved in R&D projects related to Air Handling equipment and solutions, including cost engineering, core functionality development, evolutionary upgrades, framing system improvements, and certification programs.
  • Develop designs to an agreed specification, meeting deadlines, design criteria, and liaising with suppliers.
  • Produce costings and BOMs (Bill of Materials) for projects, with final design sign off prior to handover to the project team.
  • Work on varied types of drawings, from single line design concepts to intricate detailed manufacturing drawings.
  • Provide technical support to the pre-sales team, including site visits and client meetings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in HVAC CAD design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
