Job Summary
Tanglewood Care Homes is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the efficient running of our care home.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all clients receive individualized care plans and that their needs are met in accordance with NMC guidelines and company policy.
- Assess and review clients' social and health care needs, and provide health supervision and direct nursing care when required.
- Administer prescribed medicines and document the same in accordance with the company's procedures and NMC guidelines.
- Participate in staff and client meetings as and when required, and establish and maintain good communication with clients, relatives, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Supervise and instruct junior and new Team Members in all aspects of their work in the care home, giving help and guidance where appropriate.
- Attend mandatory training days/courses on or off site as and when required, and maintain and improve professional knowledge and competence.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse, registered with the NMC.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Genuine interest in working with the relevant client group.
- Satisfactory Police Check (DBS) and check against the ISA List.
- Team Player.
- Experience/qualification in care for relevant client category.
- Previous supervisory experience – support will be given to newly qualified staff.
- Professional telephone manner.

Work Details
- Job Type: Part-time.
- Part-time hours: 27 per week.
- Salary: £20.00 per hour.
