Fruition IT is seeking an IT Asset Manager to lead a critical project for a client implementing a comprehensive asset lifecycle management process. This role focuses on enhancing their IT asset tracking and reporting through the Lansweeper platform, ensuring optimal utilisation of assets across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the discovery, cataloguing, and reporting of all IT assets using Lansweeper.
  • Ensure accurate data collection for workstations, servers, virtual clusters, network devices, software, and cloud services.
  • Identify opportunities for asset consolidation, upgrades, and decommissioning.
  • Lead strategies for the replacement, disposal, and redeployment of assets, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to improve reporting, forecasting, and security management.
  • Implement governance for the security and integrity of asset data.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT asset management and lifecycle processes, including discovery and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of Lansweeper.
  • Expertise in managing hardware, software, cloud, and network assets.
  • Familiarity with financial forecasting, asset depreciation, and security compliance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot scanning errors and asset tracking issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
