Compensation: £12.80 per hour

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 28 hours per week, 09:30 - 17:00

Your Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating engaging morning and afternoon activity sessions tailored to the interests of our residents, which may include music, outings, exercise classes, and creative arts.
  • Creating and maintaining an activity planner within a defined budget to ensure a variety of options are available.
  • Encouraging resident participation in activities and providing support as needed.
  • Organizing special celebrations and surprises for residents' birthdays.
  • Coordinating all logistics for planned activities, including events and outings.
  • Collaborating with local community performers and organizations to enhance our activity offerings.
  • Assisting with meal service when required.
  • Conducting one-on-one interactions with residents, which may involve reminiscing, puzzles, reading, or simply enjoying a conversation.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including care plans and activity documentation.
  • Supporting the home’s social media presence as needed.
